Woodland: Saltburn Gill
Some of the trees stood out, perhaps because their leaves hadn’t appeared yet but the ground was green with wildflower leaves.
I love the one with the huge stem of ivy snaking it’s way up the trunk.
There were also the developing lime-green fruits of Wych Elm to be seen. We had a nibble of one…tasted of uncooked pastry to me.
