There are many different types of moss and fungi growing on the trees and the ground of the damp woodland.
An unusual plant to be found on the floor of the wood is Alternate-leaved Golden-saxifrage in addition to the more common Opposite-leaved Golden-saxifrage which is beginning to flower.
