Hagg Wood

The patch of Marsh Marigold near the footbridge marks the route crossing the Medieval Ford.

Hagg wood is a glorious Spring wood, rich in wild flowers and Native trees.

The Scaly Male Fern (Dryopteris affinis) was identified by Martin by the dark colouring where the leaflets meet the main leaf stem found on the frond from last year.
