- Wild Cherry
- Wild Privet (this is our native Privet – the one in garden hedges comes from Japan)
- Herb-Robert growing amongst nettle and bramble
- The striking red berries of Cuckoo Pint (a plant also known as Lords-and-Ladies)
Season: Summer
Woodland: Saltburn Gill
Salturn Gill is an ancient piece of woodland in a cleft. A beck runs along the bottom. It is a dark often damp place in summer due to the leaf canopy. A great place for ivy, ferns, bramble and horsetail.
