Saltburn Gill

Although there have been green ferns all winter in the woods there are new fronds unfurling as the older fronds die back. Still in March but unusually warm and sunny there is a great deal of bee activity.

Common plants, like the Dandelion which seems to be able to grow anywhere, are an important source of pollen at this time of year.
