This is my first and I feel I must pay some reference to our inspirational meeting of the 16th July at the Great North Museum. This was such a great day. We concluded with Martin’s “now get out there and show us what you can do! ” summing up session. And so to 26th July and our first meeting in the field. Well wood really. The picture should tell the story. There is more because we (Audrey and myself) went back to retrace our steps on the following day. Better weather meant that we could spend a little more time recording the “highlights” of the previous day. More considered photographs and drawings to follow.
