Winter fungi were highly surprising

We thought this could be Scarlet Elf-cup (Sarcoscypha coccinea).

Jelly Ear Fungus (Auricularia auricula-judae)

Crimped Gill (Plicatura crispa) growing on Hazel. This has been normally found in Scotland but appears to be moving its range south. We have found it in all three of our woods, each time growing on Hazel.

Stump Puffball (Lycoperdon pyriforme)
