An almost completely uprooted Rowan tree is leaning on another tree and still growing towards the light. A Honeysuckle reaches out to a Hazel tree for support. As it winds tightly around the stem it creates the spiral shape used for crafting walking sticks. An Alder twists and turns to get as many of its leaves into the light in the canopy.
