Aboration, genetic modification and cross fertilisation are all features in these photographs.

This very pale pink, almost white, flower is actually a red campion. This is what genetic modification can do.

The startling beauty this flower is the result of cross fertilisation between water avens and wood avens.

The, bite size, banana shaped stem on this stinging nettle has taken the sting out of it. Close up, the patterns and colours are intriguing.
